Who is Randy Rachel?
Randy Rachel owns Rachel Precision LLC, a custom rifle shop in Canton, Mississippi, and has been a machinist for more than 40 years. He builds elite centerfire and rimfire competition rifles for PRS, PRS Rimfire, NRL, NRL22 and other top series, and precision hunting rifles.
He chambers barrels from Brux, CRB, Krieger, Bartlein, Benchmark and Muller Works.

This is the equipment behind every Rachel Precision barrel and action.
- Turning centers with back-flush coolant
- Every turning center in the shop flushes coolant through the chamber while it's cut. That carries chips out before they can score the chamber walls.
- True Bore Alignment
- Our setup for centering the chamber on the exact centerline of the bore. We use it to recut action faces and tenon threads, too.
- Chamber reamers
- Specialized, high-precision reamers, sized to the cartridge you'll shoot.
- Threading and alignment tools
- Precision lathes and alignment tools that keep muzzle threads concentric to the bore.
- Glass bedding
- The action is bedded to the stock, so it sits in the same place every time it's torqued down.
- Laser engraver
- For logos, artwork, custom text and caliber markings on barrels.
